Allweld is Australian owned and has operated in Tinana Queensland for over 27 years. During this period, we have developed into a multi-faceted business handling any size project in all fields of Design, Drafting, Engineering and Manufacture.

Allweld Design and Engineering is made up of a team of highly qualified individuals that have extensive experience working in many fields while working with small to large companies providing design services and general manufacture.  Various companies and sectors like Rolling stock, Defence, Land and sea, Pall Australia, Energy Queensland, Correctives Services and Queensland Ambulance.  Having extensive experience working on Rollingstock as Maryborough is the home of EDI/Downer Rail train manufacturers.

We understand that this should be a one-way conversation, in other words once the drawings are submitted to the fabricator the specifications are clearly communicated and the fabricator should not need to ask questions and no features are open for interpretations.

Our design capabilities extended across multiple CAD/PLM/CAM applications as required and directed from our clients. We can work in-house or externally to reach an outcome that extends to both parties.  With the use of Siemens Teamcentre PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software Allweld can maintain a high level of product configuration management to batch and serialised builds of products.  This ability has gained us the ability to support an existing supplier of commonwealth military projects.  Our in-house engineering and design service also supports a number of external clients which then flows through to our production to build prototypes, first of types and assembly production builds.

Solidworks 3D CAD software is a preferred tool for our engineers and designers in the design – development phase.  Allweld’s designer/drafters can stimulate concept designs across diverse scenarios to enable tweaks in the process without any major difficulty.  The software allows our designers to import data, store it and retain it across different projects. 

Allweld specialises in Solidworks modelling and drafting outsourcing solutions with capabilities in Solidworks 3D CAD, being the correct partner for any business converting or designing sheet metal parts.  This is because our drafters know the acuteness of Solidworks drafting and the correct in-built functions and the commands within.
